Remember the quiz tomorrow over Classifying Sentences (simple, compound, complex, and compound-complex) and Academic Vocabulary.  Look over your Notes for Simple Step 8 in your Survival Guide to prepare for the test.  The Academic Vocabulary Words are attached below.

The retest over Simple Steps Lessons 1-7 is tomorrow after school from 4:00-4:30.  Remember, you have to attend a tutoring/review session to be able to retake test.  The only one left is Tuesday morning from 8:10-8:40.

On-Level and Pre-AP:

REMEMBER!  Test re-takes are on Tuesday after school from 4:00-4:25 pm.  In order to take the test over, you must make corrections on the test and come for a tutoring session.  If you have not done this already, the tutoring times left are before and after school on Friday, before and after school on Monday, and before school on Tuesday.  Please let me know when you are coming if you have not done so already

MATH TAKS TEST TOMORROW, TUESDAY, APRIL 26, 2011!

READING TAKS TEST WEDNESDAY, APRIL 27, 2011!

• Get a good night’s sleep.
• Eat breakfast with some protein. 
• Bring your lunch.
• We will eat lunch at the usual lunch time in the testing room.
• Do not bring your cell phone.
• Bring a book to read after testing.
• Do not bring a purse or backpack into the testing room.
• There will be no talking during testing hours ( including lunch).
• Use your strategies.
• Take your time-no need to rush.

On-Level:

We have completed reading Nothing But The Truth.  Be prepred to answer questions from the novel.  You will be able to use your book to answer the questions, but you will need a general understanding of the book in order to analyze it.  All of your answers must be in COMPLETE SENTENCES.

PAP:

You need to be prepared to answer questions and analyze the events, characters, setting, and literary elements from pp. 214-358 in Inkheart.  You will be able to use your book to answer questions.  All answers must be in COMPLETE SENTENCES.

On-Level:

Read pp. 134-149 from Nothing But the Truth.

PAP:

Read chapters 27-30 from Inkheart.

Remember to complete your Media Persusaion Project.  You will present your project to the class on Monday.  Scoring rubric is as follows:
